Lukas Wieser is an attorney at law at zeiler.partners and a specialist in labour and employment law, litigation and commercial arbitration.

Lukas has extensive experience advising clients in all aspects of labour and employment law and in representing clients in employment litigations and trials before Austrian courts. His works also includes advising foreign and national clients in drafting all kind of employment agreements, such as employment contracts and shop agreements, and advising in restructuring processes and transactions. He assists employers in the full range of industrial relations law, from representing them against unions and works councils as well as against works council members. He also assists international and local clients in global mobility and employee immigration scenarios. Hiring and performance management as well as drafting contracts with executives are another focus of Lukas’ expertise. He also advises clients on data protection, focusing especially on employees’ data. Lukas further advises and represents clients, both suppliers (sellers) as well as distributors (commercial agents), in disputes arising from distribution & agency agreements. He also assists clients in commercial disputes and represents them before domestic courts and in arbitration proceedings.

Lukas regularly lectures on employment law at national and international conferences and seminars and has authored several publications in his field. Additionally, he is a lecturer on HR-issues at the University of Applied Science BFI Vienna. He was admitted to the Austrian bar in 2016, is a graduate of the University of Vienna (Mag. iur. 2009) and the University of Barcelona (LL.M. 2015). Lukas is with zeiler.partners since its founding in 2014 and worked before in the employment team of a major international Vienna-based law firm and in a boutique law firm focused on employment law.
